About the event
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! - Join the fight against invasive species! We are continuing the work we started last year to remove harmful invasive plants from the Prairie Border Nature Preserve.
WORK WITH JCII! - The Jasper County Invasives Initiative (JCII) is leading this event. Meet and work with volunteers who are passionate about educating local citizens about the impact of invasive species.
COME PREPARED! - Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, bring gloves and any sunscreen or bug spray you may need. Don't forget to bring water!
