Come enjoy the Kankakee River with us during our 10th Annual Sandhill Crane Paddle! The paddle goes from the Yellow River Public Access Site (41.271113, -86.823718 off of S 650 W) in English Lake, Indiana and ends at Dunn's Bridge County Park
(41.219669, -86.969072) in Kouts, Indiana.
Paddlers Bringing Equipment: drop your equipment off at the Yellow River Public Access Site from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. CST and then drive to Dunn's Bridge County Park to park your vehicle and catch the shuttle bus.
Paddlers Using Loaner Equipment: You must RSVP using the provided link to secure your loaner equipment which is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Park your vehicle at Dunn's Bridge County Park and catch the shuttle bus.
The last shuttle bus will leave Dunn's Bridge County Park promptly at 12:30 p.m. to head to Yellow River Public Access Site starting point.
We will have a cookout style lunch at Dunn's Bridge following the float trip! After lunch caravan with us to the Jasper Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area to enjoy watching the Sandhill Cranes!
